We are primarily looking for food\, quilts\, fresh produce\, and homemade items\, but we are not limiting the auction to these items only. We will accept new and lightly used item donations up to the day of the auction. Please consider donating your used and low value items to your local thrift store.\nLodging: We have several options for overnight accommodations if your family would like to stay at camp. SUMMARY:Nature at Night: Owl Prowl
DESCRIPTION:Whoooo’s there? \nAfter a half-hour presentation exploring owl traits and identification\, we will hit the trail to listen (and look) for owls! They can be a little shy\, so be prepared to silently stand still at times. \nWear suitable footwear for potentially damp grass\, bring a red-light flashlight if you have one. Walk will be about 1 mile over mostly level grass and gravel surfaces. \n—- \nWhile you may still observe on your own at the park without attending a program\, all visitors should arrive before dark. \nPark programs occur on the Night Sky Public Viewing Area. Park in the gravel lot and follow the walkway next to the restrooms to the seating area. Since seating is limited\, you may want to bring a chair and/or blanket. \nWe ask that park visitors please leave their pets at home. Dim lighting\, large crowds and sensitive equipment do not create a pet-friendly environment. \nAll programs will be cancelled in the event of rain or thunder.
