DESCRIPTION:The Gmeiner Art & Cultural Center is pleased to announce that the Main Gallery exhibit for October will be a full display of Arthur Gmeiner’s own work to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the opening of the center. Did you know that the building houses a permanent collection of more than 400 of Mr. Gmeiner’s oil paintings? The exhibit will open on Saturday\, October 12th with a reception from 2-4PM. The reception is free and open to the public\, who are invited to come enjoy light refreshments provided by members of the Wellsboro Art Club. This exhibit will remain on display until Sunday\, November 3rd.

This exhibit demonstrates the members’ wide variety of styles and mediums\, and this year’s challenge to “work small.” The pieces may be small in size\, but they are large in creativity. SUMMARY:Halloween in Blossburg
DESCRIPTION:The festivities start at 5:30 p.m. with the Halloween parade followed by Trick or Treat from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  There will also be Trunk or Treat set up on Morris St.  . \nThe Blossburg Borough with have Hot Chocolate and a Family Photo Op. \nBring your carved pumpkin to the borough office between 5pm-6pm on the 31st to be displayed during trick or treating.  All participants will receive a goodie bag from the borough.  Pumpkins will be discarded at 8pm if not picked up. (battery operated lights will be provided.) \nThe Blossburg Fire Department will have trucks around town to light up any dark areas! \nFun for the entire family.  Don’t miss the ghoulish good time!

DESCRIPTION:The Victoria will be opening their doors at 6:00 p.m. on Halloween night for all the little goblins. Theatre will be decorated with scary movie clips in background (not too scary though) and there will be plenty of candy for the kids. You will be greeted by some of our ghouls and goblins at the door and in theatre. Come join us on your walk through Blossburg and see our pretty theatre dressed up for the holiday!!
