DESCRIPTION:Celebrate World Migratory Bird Day by learning to use the Cornell Lab of Ornithology’s Merlin Bird ID app at Sinnemahoning State Park’s at 9:00 am on Saturday\, May 9th 40 during a 2-hour class that will help you learn the sounds of birds around you. \nClass begins at the Wildlife Center before heading out to practice with the app in real time.  It is recommended\, but not required\, that those attending download the Merlin Bird ID app before the program. \nDress appropriately for the weather. \n

DESCRIPTION:Bring your appetite and head to Galeton on Saturday\, May 9th\, for one of the northern tier’s favorite events! \nThe Galeton Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its annual King of the Wing chicken wing cook off contest on Saturday\, May 9th from 10am-5pm at the John J. Collins Memorial (Centertown) Park in Galeton.  Plan now to join friends new and old for a day filled with family fun\, great food\, and entertainment – all for the love of the “Buffalo Wing” and to raise money for the Galeton Fireworks Committee. \nWings will be judged at 4:30pm.
