DESCRIPTION:This night time program offers a chance to see nocturnal wildlife in a unique way. After a brief orientation we will travel to spots in and around the park to “call in” a gray fox using night lights and an electronic game call. Other species possibly encountered will be deer\, raccoons\, owls\, coyotes\, and more. The program involves hiking into the woods discreetly and calling from several locations. \nParticipants should be prepared to drive short distances\, wear dark colored and scent free clothing\, and remain quiet. No flashlights are allowed. Program is not suitable for young children or those with difficulty walking at night in a woodland setting. Strict limit to 12 persons ages 10 and above. \nPreregistration is required; to register call 570-724-4246 or stop in the park office. \nMeet at the Nature Center at 8:30pm.

Stevenson Reservoir in search of wildlife. \nPontoon boat tours are scheduled to begin in June and continue until the end of September.  Tours are offered on most Sundays and other selected dates throughout the season\, with three tours offered on each date. \nThere is no fee for regular Sunday interpretive pontoon boat tours\, but DONATIONS ARE REQUESTED. \nGroup size is limited.  To reserve a seat\, please pre-register.  Pre-registration is not required but is strongly recommended. \nThe program time is 1 hour 15 minutes.  Life vests and binoculars will be provided.  After the passengers are fitted with life vests and seated on the boat\, the tour will last approximately one hour. \nIf you need an accommodation to participate in PA State Park activities due to a disability\, please contact the park you plan to visit.  With at least seven days’ notice\, interpreters for people who are deaf or hard of hearing are available for educational programs. \nFor more information about programs at Sinnemahoning State Park\, please call the park office at 814-647-8401.

Going forward this will remain a coed trip\, for both Boys and Girls. \nAdirondack campers will load their packs and head 6 hrs north into the heart of the Adirondack mountains for an unforgettable experience that’ll last a lifetime! Base camp will be set up at Lake Harris\, from there campers will enjoy a week of backpacking\, hiking\, cooking outdoors\, astonishing views\, building friendships and experiencing God’s creation first hand! The Adirondacks is an extraordinary place to visit and allows amazing opportunities to grow closer to God! \n\n\nParents of Campers take note:\n• Campers must be in good physical condition\n• We will be on the trail for multiple days and nights without access to running water/electricity.\n• Everyone will be expected to carry their own gear/supplies as well as a portion of the food/gear needed for the group.\n• Campers need to bring appropriate hiking clothing and footwear. Sneakers are not recommended footwear.\n• Pack light!
