All ages welcome. \nExpect to walk less than a mile and mostly on level terrain. Meet at the kiosk near the restroom. Meet at the kiosk by the Night Sky Public Viewing Area.  The kiosk is next to the restrooms near the gravel lot. \nRegistration is NOT required for the Park Welcome & Walking Tours. \n—- \nIf you arrive early you can bring a picnic! Picnic tables and charcoal grills are on site next to the Night Sky Public Viewing Area. \nWe ask that all park visitors to the programs please leave their pets at home.  \nAll programs will be cancelled in the event of rain or thunder.

Learn about park history\, current use\, and the importance of dark night skies. \nRegistration encouraged\, but not required. Should we need to cancel or modify a program due to weather\, etc.\, we will email all registered participants. Optional registration will open 45 days before the program. \nWhile you may still observe on your own at the park without attending a program\, all visitors should arrive before dark. \nPark programs occur on the Night Sky Public Viewing Area. Park in the gravel lot and follow the walkway next to the restrooms to the seating area. Since seating is limited\, you may want to bring a chair and/or blanket. \nWe ask that park visitors please leave their pets at home. After viewing the moon we will take a look at a visible planet! \nTelescope availability is subject to time and crowd-size limitations. \n—– \nWhile you may still observe on your own at the park without attending a program\, all visitors should arrive before dark. \nPrograms are conducted at the Night Sky Viewing Area. Follow the walkway from the public program parking to the seating area. \nThe park asks that visitors to the Night Sky programs please leave their pets at home. SUMMARY:Fourth annual Wreaths Across America Charity Ride
DESCRIPTION:Wreaths Across America is a national program that provides wreaths to lay on veteran’s graves as a way to honor them. To raise the money to fund this\, they are holding a charity ride Saturday\, July 29\, 2023 The cost is $20 per rider and $10 per passenger or $30 a carload.  Registration will begin at 9:45am at Eisenhauer Harley Davidson and the ride will begin at 11:00am. Stops will be made along the way. The race concludes at Morris Run Legion\, where a delicious meal  will be provided. . Raffles\, games\, and a Chinese Auction will also be there.
