SUMMARY:Once Upon a Crime\, The Trial of Goldilocks
DESCRIPTION:Will justice be served in this hilarious fairy-tale courtroom play packed with characters we all know and love? Goldilocks is the defendant\, on trial for breaking and entering. The plaintiffs are — you guessed it — the three bears. As their lawyers Henny Penny and Tom Thumb go toe-to-toe hoping to prove their respective clients’ cases\, other fairy tale characters are called to testify as witnesses\, including Hansel and Gretel\, Jack and Cow\, and Granny. Even the Big Bad Wolf takes the stand\, but can any of these witnesses be trusted themselves? Is Goldilocks guilty or innocent? Come and find out in this comedic courtroom farce where it’s up to the audience\, which serves as the jury\, to determine how the play ends! HG performances are General Admission. In most cases\, the theatre will be opened for you to choose your seats 30 minutes prior to the performance. Even though you are prepaid\, most events do not allow for seating after the performance begins\, as it is disruptive to other patrons. Park programs occur on the Night Sky Public Viewing Area. Park in the gravel lot and follow the walkway next to the restrooms to the seating area. Bench seating is limited\, you may want to bring a chair and/or blanket. \nPets: No pets\, please. SUMMARY:FAMILY FISHING TOURNAMENT
DESCRIPTION:A family tradition. Medallions awarded in the following categories: largest perch\, largest bluegill\, largest bass\, largest crappie\, largest stringer of game fish by weight (for 1 angler’s legal limit of gamefish for the day).  A 1 oz. bonus for game fish that are caught and released.  All fish must be caught by legal means.  This is a no cull contest (no replacing a smaller fish with a heavier fish on the stringer).  In the event of a tie\, the earliest-weighed fish will win.  Weigh-in at the beach area near lake shore from 12 – 1 PM and from 7 – 8 PM with awards immediately following the final weigh-in.

SUMMARY:Laurel Festival 10k Footrace and Two-Mile Fun Run/Walk
DESCRIPTION:The Laurel Festival 10K\, sponsored by First Citizens Community Bank\, will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday\, June 15 followed at 9:05 a.m. by the two-mile Fun Run/Walk. The 10K course has rolling hills\, paved and dirt surfaces\, and exciting Pennsylvania Grand Canyon country views.\n\n\nRegistration\, check in and packet pickup will be at Packer Park on Queen Street from 7:45 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. on race day. The entry fee for the 10K is $25 and for the Fun Run is $5. Race day registrants pay in cash or by check.\n\n\nThose who preregister for the 10K on or before next Saturday\, June 1 will receive a free event T-shirt presented by First Citizens Community Bank and be entered in the “Early Bird Drawing” with a chance to win $25 in Wellsboro Chamber Dollars to spend in area businesses.\n\n\nUPMC Wellsboro is sponsoring the awards. Medals\, certificates and other prizes will be presented to 10K male and female runners who place in the top three overall; finish first\, second or third in each age category (19 and under\, 20-29\, 30-39\, 40-49\, 50-59\, 60-69 and 70 and over) and to the oldest and youngest runners that finish first.\n\n\nEach Fun Run participant will receive a commemorative ribbon. Fun Run first place finishers will receive medals.\n\n\nTiming will be by Insta-Results. The Tioga County Amateur Radio Club will handle communications.
