DESCRIPTION:The Coudersport Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce plans for Food Fun Friday’s to be held at the Coudersport Courthouse Square on Friday\, July 12th\, July 19th\, August 2nd\, August 16th\, August 30th\, and September 13th from 5 – 8pm. \nThese events will be featuring musicians in the gazebo from 5:30-7:30pm and food truck/vendors will be lined up on East 3rd Street and be opened for business at 5pm.  We will also be having corn hole and other yard games in the square. \nPlease bring your lawn chairs and come to the square and support your local community.  Watch our Facebook page\, Coudersport Area Chamber of Commerce for details.

SUMMARY:Free Deane Center Outdoor Summer Concert To Feature the "Hey!makers"
DESCRIPTION:Bring the entire family and join us at 6:00 p.m. on Friday\, August 2\, for the “Hey!makers”.  The Hey!makers are a  ramped-up acoustic Americana trio that plays a toe-tapping\, thigh-slapping mix of country\, rock and roll\, bluegrass\, and soul on the outdoor stage at the Deane Center for the Performing Arts at 104 Main Street in Wellsboro. The outdoor stage is located on the Central Avenue side of the building. \nAudience members are welcome to bring lawn chairs and sit on the grassy area in front of the outdoor stage or on Central Avenue\, which will be closed to traffic between Main Street and the Warehouse Theatre from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. this Friday. \nThe Hey!makers not only perform their own original songs that range from sad country waltzes to driving\, twangy\, rock and roll anthems but also some well-loved covers in their own signature style\, such as The Monkees’ “Last Train to Clarksville\,” John Prine’s “Please Don’t Bury Me\,” and Duran Duran’s “Hungry Like the Wolf.” \nSo bring your “Hey\, Hey” down to the outside stage as this is something you won’t want to miss! \n  \n

Registration closes at 3 PM\, 2 days prior to class. Class size is limited to 10 seats\, with a waitlist availabile if class has filled. \nForeground material\, such as trees or buildings may also add to the composition. DESCRIPTION:Join Park staff for a relaxing and informative tour around the lake\, as we cruise the shoreline of the George B. Stevenson Reservoir in search of wildlife. \nPontoon boat tours are scheduled to begin in June and continue until the end of September.  Tours are offered on most Sundays and other selected dates throughout the season\, with three tours offered on each date. \nThere is no fee for regular Sunday interpretive pontoon boat tours\, but DONATIONS ARE REQUESTED. \nGroup size is limited.  To reserve a seat\, please pre-register.  Pre-registration is not required but is strongly recommended. \nThe program time is 1 hour 15 minutes.  Life vests and binoculars will be provided.  After the passengers are fitted with life vests and seated on the boat\, the tour will last approximately one hour. \nIf you need an accommodation to participate in PA State Park activities due to a disability\, please contact the park you plan to visit.  With at least seven days’ notice\, interpreters for people who are deaf or hard of hearing are available for educational programs. \nFor more information about programs at Sinnemahoning State Park\, please call the park office at 814-647-8401.

SUMMARY:Critter Call
DESCRIPTION:This night time program offers a chance to see nocturnal wildlife in a unique way. After a brief orientation we will travel to spots in and around the park to “call in” a gray fox using night lights and an electronic game call. Other species possibly encountered will be deer\, raccoons\, owls\, coyotes\, and more. The program involves hiking into the woods discreetly and calling from several locations. \nParticipants should be prepared to drive short distances\, wear dark colored and scent free clothing\, and remain quiet. No flashlights are allowed. Program is not suitable for young children or those with difficulty walking at night in a woodland setting. Strict limit to 12 persons ages 10 and above. \nPreregistration is required; to register call 570-724-4246 or stop in the park office. \nMeet at the Nature Center at 8:30pm.
