Growing up on a dairy farm in northern New York and then traveling around the world in a bluegrass band has given them a unique vantage point on life. They can pick. They can write a dang good country song. They’ve won about every bluegrass award you can name and released many albums on almost every premier Americana label including Sugar Hill and Rounder. And as if that’s not enough\, their songs have been recorded by bluegrass legends like Del McCoury. Their talent level is well established\, the only producers they have ever worked with are Ricky Skaggs\, Dan Auerbach\, David Ferguson and Jerry Douglas. It’s a resume almost anybody in country music would be proud to have.  Come and enjoy some mighty fine Bluegrass! The brothers will be accompanied by their band. This is the third concert of the WCCA 6-Concert Season.

SUMMARY:Molly's Boys Jug Band
DESCRIPTION:The Molly’s Boys Jug Band is a unique\, three-person musical group playing contemporary and old-time songs\, folk\, rock\, blues\, and original tunes. They\nfeature guitar\, banjo\, clarinet\, saxophone\, flute\, jug\, washboard\, and musical saw\, among other inventive instruments. This band is truly a special experience\nthat often incorporates audience participation into their performance and adapts their shows to the type of audience or venue. The band was formed\nprimarily for educational assemblies in public schools in 2017 which rapidly evolved into performances at fairs\, clubs\, and special events. \n  \nTickets are $20\, and we will have table seating\, which is the standard for our BYOB shows. There are General Admissions risers in the back of the theatre and the opportunity to rent a table in the middle and front of the theatre. A small table is an additional $5 and seats 2-4 people. A large table is an additional $10 and seats 6-8 people. The only way to rent a table is to call our office at 570-724-6220. SUMMARY:Dickens Hat Workshop
DESCRIPTION:The Gmeiner Art & Cultural Center is thrilled to offer an 1843 Bonnet Making Workshop with renowned milliner Christine Moore. This class will take your Dickens costume to the next level with an authentic Victorian era hat design! The class will be held from 12:00 PM to 4:00PM on Sunday\, November 24th. The cost per student is $25 and most materials will be provided\, including: a premade buckram understructure\, millinery wire and clamps\, pre-made lining\, needles and pins\, white\, black\, red\, navy\, brown thread. Participants will pick the shape they prefer to make from Christine’s 2 bonnet sketches above. Students must bring their own scissors\, at least 1 yard of fabric in the color they choose to cover the buckram structure\, thread that matches their fabric choice\, and any ribbon or trim they would like to use on their bonnet. Christine will provide hands-on instruction and assistance. Students should leave the class with a completed bonnet. \nOpen to students ages 15 and older. Class is limited to 12 participants.
