DESCRIPTION:The Gmeiner Art & Cultural Center is excited to present its December Atrium Gallery exhibit\, “Wrapped in Tradition: Wellsboro’s Shrink-Wrapped Ornaments\,” featuring a dazzling array of ornaments from the Wellsboro Glass Historical Association (WGHA) collection. The exhibit celebrates the innovative history and artistry of Wellsboro’s glass ornament production\, with a special focus on the unique shrink-wrap designs that have become cherished holiday keepsakes. \nThe opening reception will take place on Saturday\, November 22nd from 2:00 to 4:00 PM\, and is free to the public. \n“Wrapped in Tradition: Wellsboro’s Shrink-Wrapped Ornaments” will be on display until Sunday\, January 11th. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience a piece of American holiday history and celebrate the artistry and creativity that continue to make Wellsboro a special part of Christmas for families nationwide. \nThe Gmeiner is open from 12-6PM Tuesdays through Sundays and is located at 134 Main Street in Wellsboro behind the Green Free Library.
