SUMMARY:Fly-in Breakfast at Grand Canyon Regional Airport
DESCRIPTION:The Canyon Pilots Association Memorial Day Weekend All-You-Can-Eat Fly-In Breakfast is Sunday\, May 24 from 8 a.m. to noon\, indoors in the\ncorporate hanger at the Grand Canyon Regional Airport in Delmar Township at 112 Runway Road\, Wellsboro. The breakfast is open\nto the public and will be held rain or shine. \nOn the menu are ham\, eggs\, buckwheat pancakes\, coffee and orange juice.  Requested is a donation of $10 for adults and $5 for youngsters 4 to 8 years\nold. Children ages 3 and under are admitted free. Parking\, including handicapped parking\, is available for free. \nWeather permitting\, pilots in various types of full-size aircraft will fly into the airport for the breakfast. If the weather cooperates\, people are welcome to\nwatch them land and take off and have chats with the pilots about their aircraft. Also available\, weather permitting\, will be airplane flights over the\nPennsylvania Grand Canyon for a fee. Raffle winners will get free rides aboard a helicopter.\nThe Mountain Modelaires\, a local group\, will have radio-controlled model airplanes and helicopters on display in a nearby hanger.

DESCRIPTION:Learn a new outdoor skill at Lyman Run State Park on Sunday\, May 24th from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM during Family Fishing Day. This program is intended for individuals or families of all ages with little or no fishing experience. Participants will be introduced to the basics of fishing safety\, casting\, how to bait a hook\, and all about the fish in Lyman Lake. This knowledge is put to use right away as we finish the day by fishing in the lake! \nNo one needs a fishing license to participate. Park educators will provide instruction\, and the park will provide rods\, tackle\, and bait to use during the program. Owner of Tree Master LLC.\, Michael is an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist and TCIA Certified Tree Safety Professional. This class will include an indoor portion (classroom-style learning)\, followed by a hands-on opportunity within the park. Michael will go over what pruning is\, why it is beneficial\, and some how-to’s for the average landowner.
