The group features Angus Mackenzie (Highland Pipes/Border Pipes/Whistles)\, Gabe McVarish (Fiddle)\, Ellen MacDonald (Gaelic Songs)\, Murdo Cameron (Mandola/Mandolin)\, and Rose Martin (Guitar). They are festival favorites in Scotland\, Ireland and Europe and are famed for their thrilling live shows with pyrotechnical jigs and reels and poignant ballads. It’ll surely be a show not to miss. This is the fifth concert in the WCCA 6-Concert Season.

Rose Baldino and Brian Buchanan are both great fiddle players\, classical violinists\, songwriters and vocalists who blend their voices in mesmerizing harmony. Caroline Browning\, an accomplished bassist\, completes the trio. Their version of “Pound a Week Rise” rose to #1 on the US Folk DJ charts and their all-violin video cover of “Sweet Child O’ Mine” has more than 16 million views on Facebook where it was shared over 400\,000 times. The group plays popular\, familiar\, obscure\, sentimental\, and exciting big band jazz tunes that are sure to appeal to all. The vision of the group is to give great musicians an opportunity to play jazz standards\, contemporary music and big band classics to enthusiastic audiences—and to nurture an appreciation of jazz music in the next generation of musicians and audiences. \nTickets are $20 and we will have table seating which is the standard for our BYOB shows. There are General Admissions risers located in the back of the theatre as well as the opportunity to rent a table located in the middle and front of the theatre. DESCRIPTION:At 1 p.m. this coming Tuesday\, Dec. 10\, Cheryl Hein Walters of Mansfield will present “Harp Holiday” for the Golden Afternoons program in the lobby at the Deane Center for the Performing Arts at 104 Main Street in Wellsboro.\n\n\nThis free one-hour program is open to anyone 55 years of age or older.\n\n\nWalters will play the harp and sing holiday favorites. Those attending are invited to sing along and pat\, clap or stomp with gusto.\n\n\nCookies\, punch and holiday treats will be provided free.\n\n\nWalters taught elementary music in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas for 11 years before moving to Mansfield in 2007.\n\n\nFor the past 16 years\, she has been teaching harp\, voice and piano at private studios in Wellsboro and in Mansfield and also has harp students at Commonwealth University\, Mansfield.\n\n\nWalters plays harp for dinner parties\, weddings\, funerals and special occasions and many Sundays at St. James Episcopal Church in Mansfield. Growing up on a dairy farm in northern New York and then traveling around the world in a bluegrass band has given them a unique vantage point on life. They can pick. They can write a dang good country song. They’ve won about every bluegrass award you can name and released many albums on almost every premier Americana label including Sugar Hill and Rounder. And as if that’s not enough\, their songs have been recorded by bluegrass legends like Del McCoury. Their talent level is well established\, the only producers they have ever worked with are Ricky Skaggs\, Dan Auerbach\, David Ferguson and Jerry Douglas. It’s a resume almost anybody in country music would be proud to have.  Come and enjoy some mighty fine Bluegrass! The brothers will be accompanied by their band. This is the third concert of the WCCA 6-Concert Season.
