DESCRIPTION:Germania Old Home Day is scheduled for Sunday\, September 1st  in the southern Potter County village. \nEntertainment\, food and legal beverages make for a lively gathering. One of the highlights is the drawing for cash prizes totaling more than $35\,000. Raffle tickets will go on sale at 9:00 a.m.\, with the food and beverage booths opening at 11:00 a.m.. The band\, No Limits\, will perform from 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.. \nA horseshoe pitching contest\, starting at 12:00 p.m.\, is open to the public. \nAnother crowd favorite will be the greased pig chases in women’s and children’s divisions\, starting at 6: p.m.. \nGermania is located along Pa. Rt. 144\, about seven miles south of Galeton.
