SUMMARY:Learn to Fish Family Fishing Day
DESCRIPTION:Try your hand at fishing\, even if you’ve never been before! This program is for individuals or families with little or no fishing experience. Participants learn basic fishing skills and get to practice those skills while fishing during the program. Registration Required. \nNo one needs a fishing license to participate. We will provide all fishing equipment\, bait\, and instruction. Participants are welcome to bring their own equipment if they have it. \nRegistration closes at 5 PM on Friday\, May 24th. \nParticipants will be introduced to the basics of fishing safety\, casting\, how to bait a hook\, and all about the fish in Lyman Lake. \nA pre-program email will be sent to registered participants with additional details.

SUMMARY:Introduction To Fly Fishing
DESCRIPTION:PRE-Registration is required. To register go to:  https://www.register-ed.com/events/view/200272 \nGoing to catch a star show at Cherry Springs? Why not catch a fish first! This Intro to Fly-Fishing class is capped at 20 participants. This 4hr program will provide participants with 2hrs of hands-on instruction of equipment assembly\, knot tying\, aquatic macroinvertebrates\, and casting. The remaining 2hrs provides participants with on-water fishing experience\, with guidance from PFBC staff and PFBC Fishing Skills Instructors. Fly fishing gear and instruction is provided for the duration of the program at no cost to participants!
