Join Tioga State Forest’s Kara Swartout, Forest Ranger, for an approximately two-mile hike on the Dry Hollow Trail, Tioga State Forest, on Sunday October 1st.
The hike will feature a beautiful vista overlooking the upper Pine Creek valley, as well as a tour of the historic Goodall Fire Tower Cabin that was built by the “boys” of the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s. Please bring a lunch and meet at the Colton Road\West Rim trailhead parking area near Ansonia at 10am. Attendees will follow Ranger Swartout to the Dry Hollow trailhead. Well behaved and leashed dogs are welcome. The terrain is relatively flat, and the activity should conclude by about 2pm.
