Sinnemahoning History Series: Samuel McClay

August 9 at 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Before Lewis and Clark, there was Samuel Maclay. Maclay was a surveyor who embarked on an expedition in 1790 to the heart of the PA wilds region to survey the headwaters of the Susquehanna and Allegheny Rivers, keeping a diary of his experiences along the way. Later in life Maclay became a legislator and a judge.

Explore his exciting tale in this one-hour program offered at Sinnemahoning State Park.
