Join in the winter fun on Saturday, January 24, 2026, for a Winter Adventure Hike or Cross-Country Ski at Cherry Springs State Park (Registration Needed for Ski Sizing).

The event is from 10 AM – 12 PM – meet at the Night Sky Public Viewing Area, Kiosk by Restrooms; Route will be about 2 miles over flat terrain. No dogs, please.

See nature’s refreshing winter beauty on foot! In the event of a hike, be prepared with good hiking boots, hiking poles/sticks, and water.  If conditions allow, there will be an opportunity to cross-country ski (equipment and instruction provided for free). Be prepared with water-resistant hiking boots, layers, hiking poles/sticks, and water.
