The PA Grand Canyon Snowmobile Club is proud to host the Upper Pine Creek Trout Tournament, featuring specially tagged trout stocked in the creek.

Participants who catch a tagged fish win prizes — including cash, gift certificates, and services from local businesses — each valued at a minimum of $50, with many prizes bundled from multiple businesses or individuals. Our top prize is $1,000, and we also hand out special gifts for kids through our “Start a Kid Fishing” program.

Our tournament draws fantastic attention and participation — folks love getting out into the wilds for the weekend! Local businesses enjoy a nice surge in customers during tournament weekend, and participants consistently share how much they enjoy the experience and the time spent with family and friends exploring Potter and Tioga counties. As part of the tournament, we will award a minimum of three scholarships to local graduates from the Galeton, Northern Tioga, Southern Tioga, and Wellsboro Area school districts. We’ve also launched a new Public Scholarship Fund — donations will go toward increasing either the number of scholarships awarded or the scholarship amounts, depending on how much is raised by May 1.
