Pennsylvania’s official state flower, the Mountain laurel, blooms across the region offering visitors an opportunity to see this delicate blossom at its peak bloom.  Every June, the community of Wellsboro celebrates the blooming of this beautiful flower with the annual PA State Laurel Festival.

Be part of this week long celebration that includes a juried arts and crafts fair, the Mountain Laurel Queen pageant, pet parade, children’s activities, as well as foot races, musical concerts, and the traditional Laurel Festival Parade.
