As you tour the PA Wilds looking at beautiful fall leaves, stop by Cherry Springs and see the Earth’s shadow covering part of the sun!

Stop by the Night Sky Public Viewing Area benches between 11:30 AM and 2:30 PM to safely observe a partial solar eclipse.

We’ll be there with a solar telescope, loaner solar glasses, and an explanation of exactly is going on up there in the sky.

No registration needed. Drop by for a moment, or stay the whole time.  If you plan to stick around for a while, we recommend a chair or blanket to sit on.

Program will be cancelled in the event of clouds, rain, or other inclement weather.
