Exhibit – Wrapped in Tradition – Wellsboro’s Shrink-Wrapped Ornaments

The Gmeiner Art & Cultural Center is excited to present its December Atrium Gallery exhibit, “Wrapped in Tradition: Wellsboro’s Shrink-Wrapped Ornaments,” featuring a dazzling array of ornaments from the Wellsboro Glass Historical Association (WGHA) collection. The exhibit celebrates the innovative history and artistry of Wellsboro’s glass ornament production, with a special focus on the unique shrink-wrap designs that have become cherished holiday keepsakes.

The opening reception will take place on Saturday, November 22nd from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, and is free to the public.

“Wrapped in Tradition: Wellsboro’s Shrink-Wrapped Ornaments” will be on display until Sunday, January 11th. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience a piece of American holiday history and celebrate the artistry and creativity that continue to make Wellsboro a special part of Christmas for families nationwide.

The Gmeiner is open from 12-6PM Tuesdays through Sundays and is located at 134 Main Street in Wellsboro behind the Green Free Library. Admission to the gallery is free.
