Foam Smithing Workshop and Q&A

During this year’s Wellsboro ComicCon, Thomas Ask of the Pennsylvania College of Technology Makerspace program will be here from 10AM-5PM in the Studio at the Gmeiner for a free workshop open to anyone who wants to stop in. The tables will be set up foam smithing examples, such as a foam batterang and Link’s leather bracers from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, as well as supplies for attendees to try their hand at their own foam smithing projects.
At 11:30am, Thomas will hold a Q&A in the Main Gallery along with Makerspace students Mary Herndon and Katheryn Juarez. They will discuss inventing, props, and costumes for cosplay. We are thrilled to host this awesome free event as part of this year’s ComicCon!
