Interested in learning to fly fish? Learn how during a free Fly-Fishing Basics programs at Hills Creek State Park in Wellsboro being offered the weekend of June 12-14th, 2026.
Join PA Fish and Boat Commission team members joined by Tackle Shack owners, Don and Renee Kelly, and local Fishing Skills Instructors.
All fishing equipment and instruction are provided for FREE.
Topics covered at each program include – basics on fly fishing gear, knots, flies, casting, and practice fly fishing at Hills Creek Lake. Pre-registration is required. Registration will close by 4p.m. 6/5/26 OR when the class registration is full.
