
Gallery Exhibit – “Exploration in Oils” by Kenneth P. Cobb
July 12 - August 3

The Gmeiner Art & Cultural Center is delighted to announce the Atrium Gallery exhibit for July 2025, “Explorations in Oil” featuring oil paintings by Kenneth P. Cobb, from Mansfield, PA. The exhibit will open on Saturday, July 12th with a reception from 2-4PM. The reception is free and open to the public, who are invited to come enjoy light refreshments provided by the Dancing Flame Sangha Meditation Group and to meet the artist who will give a brief artist talk at 3PM. This exhibit will remain on display until Sunday, August 3rd.
Ken was born in 1975 in Canandaigua, NY. He received his BFA in Painting and Computer Art from Bowling Green State University in Ohio in 1999 and his MFA in Studio Art (Painting concentration) from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 2004. Ken moved to the Southern Tier of NY in 2004, and currently resides with his wife Darcy in Mansfield, PA.
The collection of still life paintings on display in the Atrium Gallery reflects these explorations of color and light with oil painting. More of Ken’s work can be viewed on his website at www.kennethpcobb.com
The Gmeiner is open from 12-6PM Tuesdays through Sundays and is located at 134 Main Street in Wellsboro behind the Green Free Library. Admission to the gallery is free.
