Hellbenders: Creepy Crawlers or Awesome Amphibians? at Sinnemahoning State Park

May 3 at 8:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Hellbenders: Creepy Crawlers or Awesome Amphibians?

Take an in-depth look at one of the most unique creatures found in Sinnemahoning State Park during this free presentation. Also called a “snot-otter”, the hellbender is North America’s largest amphibian, but populations are in decline and adding the hellbender to the endangered species list has been proposed. This hour-long program will cover the life cycle, habitat, and history of an often-misunderstood animal.

 Meet at: Campground Amphitheater
