On Sunday October 26th, 2025, from 7:30 P.M.-9:00 P.M. at Sinnemahoning State Park the Saw-whet Owl Banding program invites you to join a park naturalist and learn about Pennsylvania’s smallest and most highly migratory species of owl followed by a trip down to the parks bird banding station where local bird banders David & Faye Hauber will have their owl banding station running. If any owls are caught participants will get an up-close look during the banding process.
