Winter Bird Walk

Spend a winter morning observing various bird species in Sinnemahoning State Park and enjoy an easy walk to discover the season’s natural wonders!

Meet at the 40 Maples Day Use Area of the park where you will join a park naturalist in gathering bird count data for the Great Backyard Bird Count. The group will explore 40 Maples Day Use Area and find out what birds are using the newly cleared areas during winter. Dress appropriately for the season and don’t forget comfy shoes to enjoy your time in the great outdoors.
