Learn a new outdoor skill at Lyman Run State Park on Sunday, May 24th from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM during Family Fishing Day. This program is intended for individuals or families of all ages with little or no fishing experience. Participants will be introduced to the basics of fishing safety, casting, how to bait a hook, and all about the fish in Lyman Lake. This knowledge is put to use right away as we finish the day by fishing in the lake!

No one needs a fishing license to participate. Park educators will provide instruction, and the park will provide rods, tackle, and bait to use during the program. Participants are welcome to bring their own equipment if they have it.
