Have fun out on the water this July 4th! Join our experienced kayak guides from Friends of Lyman Run and DCNR Staff for a relaxing paddle around the lake. Search for wildlife, explore the shore, and learn about the history of the park. Use our kayaks, or bring your own.

Pre-registration is required to ensure enough boats for everyone and to relay weather-related program changes.

Open to adults and youth ages 5 and up.  Youth under 13 need an adult. Kayaks, paddles, and life jackets provided. Life jackets must be worn for the program.

Parking: Park in the Dagget Day Use parking lot, go to the pavilion to meet your guides. No parking at boat launch or along lakeside.

Program will be cancelled in the event of lightning or heavy rain.

Please let us know if if you will be borrowing park kayaks or bringing your own. Any personal kayaks must have current DCNR launch permit to participate.
