The Bear Run Trail is an easy to moderate 0.8-mile one-way trail that runs adjacent to Colton Road (off of Route 6). Bear Run Trail is accessible from the Barbour Rock Parking Area in Colton Point State Park. It can be combined with the Barbour Rock and West Rim Trails to provide a loop hike about 3 miles long.

The trail traverses pristine forest providing the opportunity to find many different plant species, forest conditions, forest habitats, and the species found in them.
