Be part of this historic celebration on Friday, July 3, 2026, on The Green in Wellsboro for a celebration of 250 years of American freedom!
The event will begin with the raising of the American flag from 4:30–4:45 PM at the Historic Jail House, followed by patriotic music from the Wellsboro Area Band. The ceremony will also feature a reading of the Declaration of Independence by Tioga County students, performances by the Wellsboro Men’s Chorus, and tributes honoring our nation’s veterans and military.
